Couples and Relationship Therapy

Finding a new way forward, together.

Helping you hear each other.

Maybe you feel distant or disconnected from your partner. Maybe arguments seem to go round in circles, or you’ve stopped talking altogether. You might not even be sure what’s gone wrong, you just know things don’t feel right anymore. Perhaps you find yourself in conflict often or feel shut out by your partner. We will work collaboratively to get to the root of repeated drama or "games", and learn new ways to relate to each other that feel more honest and connected.

I work with couples who want to understand what’s really going on underneath the surface. Using Transactional Analysis Psychotherapy, I help you explore the patterns, roles, and dynamics that might be getting in the way of clear communication and closeness. We might also look at childhood or early life experiences that could be linked to how you show up in your relationship now. Together, we uncover what’s really being said, so you can hear and see each other more clearly, rebuild trust, and find a new way forward.

My approach is no-nonsense, down-to-earth, and actively engaged. I don’t just sit back and nod, I’ll offer reflections, ask questions, and sometimes be quite direct if that’s what’s needed. I’m chatty, warm, and focused on helping you make real, lasting changes.

While I often work with romantic couples, relationship counselling isn’t just for partners. I also support mothers and daughters who’ve become estranged, friends who want to repair a rupture, or even business partners who’ve hit a bump or crossroads. Any relationship that matters is worth understanding and working on.

If you're ready to explore what's happening in your relationship and want to move towards real change, I'm here to help.
